Decisions about accepting residential placements are only made after review of appropriate Level of Care assessment tool and other information provided by the placing agency. In cases where it is possible, Carrington clinical staff and unit supervisors will conduct an intake interview to allow the youth to ask questions and to ascertain the fit between the youth's needs and Carrington programming.
After all information is collected, input is solicited from the treatment team and the final decision regarding Carrington's ability to meet the needs of the child and family is made by the Clinical Director or her designee.
CCarrington Behavioral Health is prepared to accept emergency, urgent, and routine placements as needed.
