Club Rock Cares is made up of a handful of Club Rock participants who entertain for predominantly children-oriented non-profits. Club Rock benefits children in many ways. CRC’s goal is to spread happiness, help raise funds and make a difference in the community because, …Club Rock really does care!
Owner Avril Burg attended UCLA where she majored in music and voice and minored in psychology. She studied for 6 years with Seth Riggs, well-known vocal coach in Los Angeles, CA. For the past 12 years she has been the lead singer with the popular cover band Run Avril Run, who has performed everywhere from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the House of Blues to venues in the New York City and the Connecticut area. Avril has been lucky enough to sing the National Anthem at Cavs games and Indians games as well as on the Mike Trivisano show. While instructing voice and coaching performance skills to kids and adults of all ages, she’s also run workshops and vocal classes that train techniques she’s acquired thru years of experience. Avril, along with Steve, was the ‘kidz camp’ director for several years at the country’s leading summer rock camp. Avril is also co-director of Club Rock (with Steve!).

ICONS, a non-profit organization dedicated to the uplifting, support and growth of youth, young adults and communities. We have been serving the Northeast Ohio community for over a decade. Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help those in need. We do not require our clients to belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support our organization in any way. We do ask that they return one good deed with another and excel as a leader.
Hank Davis is the Executive Director of ICONS and personally meets with the Carrington youth weekly. For the past 17 years, Hank has served as an advocate for at-risk youth and young adults. His passion, drive and commitment to the growth and development of our next generation led to the formal creation of ICONS. It often takes a collective effort to help drive the success of individuals. Hank’s unique perspective and experience with overcoming obstacles within his life gives him the credibility that brings out commitment and drive from the youth served by ICONS.
Hank’s road to success has not been easy. There are not many negative things that he hasn’t seen or experienced. As an unmotivated and unfocused youth he knows what it took to elevate him to the motivational, focused leader that he is today. As he shares his history, troubled youth can often recognize his path as one that is all too familiar. Hank serves as a positive driving force developing ICONS within local communities.
Hank’s Achievements Include: State Certified Underground Utilities Locator (CLS), State Certified Quality Inspector (Ford), Co-owner of IT consulting firm, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification, Certified Member of Cleveland Ohio Peacemakers Alliance, Gang Intervention & Prevention Certification and, Conflict Resolution & Mediation Certification.
